Built the other way around

Most intermediaries are a department of something else: an underwriter’s subsidiary, a title company add-on, an attorney or accountant’s side practice. 1031 QualEx was built the other way around: a Dedicated Intermediary with no other corporate ties, run by an attorney, doing one thing at a professional standard, nationwide.

We’re members of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (the only national organization for the 1031 exchange industry), the longest-standing FEA member based in Arkansas, and insured through Lloyd’s of London, the FEA’s official insurer. Every client’s funds are held in a segregated account, and our Exchange Manager software enforces the rules, keeps the accounts, and sends automatic notices so no deadline arrives unannounced.

A Pine Bluff, Arkansas native, Wade studied International Relations and Economics at Rhodes College in Memphis before graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2008. He began working on real estate transactions during law school, where he was first introduced to the benefits of the 1031 tax-deferred exchange.

Wade founded Ozark Title & Escrow in 2011, providing strategic exchange services as an escrow agent and adviser to real estate investors, and sold the company in 2015, having incurred no claims, to concentrate on 1031 QualEx. He remains a member in good standing of the Arkansas Bar and practices in the areas of title and real estate.

Outside the office, Wade concentrates on his three children and their sports, school, and outdoor activities. A former high school exchange student in Japan, he later returned there to teach English through the Japanese Ministry of Education's JET Program.
